"We had a really nice meal, but except for the service, nothing stood out as exceptional. The food was good, but felt a bit overpriced. I feel if you're charging towards London prices it needs to deliver a bit more."

"This was an off the cuff chance eat. A very warm evening, and the restaurant had opened the patio doors allowing a gentle breeze in. The view across the fairway matched the food very good. Food well cooked and presented at a reasonable price."

"Visited here in a group of 16 adults for dinner. I had sought the menu beforehand offering plenty of choice, and notified the restaurant of our choices. The restaurant is attractive being a little olde worlde, and there were fresh flowers on our table. The...two young ladies who served our meal silver service together with the owner, were excellent friendly and efficient. All the meals including the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Altogether a delicious evening meal. If there was a downside it was a slight lack of atmosphere as we were the only customers. Perhaps a little background music would have helped..... However it was a lovely evening and all our french friends were very impressed."
