"It has a large terrace with view down on to the chateau and the Loire which on a sunny day is the place to be. The interior is somewhat like a large village hall with little to please the eye except the food. The menu is formulaic with focus on whitebait and frogs legs. One can get snails if one wants too. My grandchildren have to be taken there every year when they come for their holiday in our house about 20 minutes away. The holiday would not be the same without a meal there. Frozen supplies are used. Service is quick despite the large number of diners normally to be found there. Its noisy and crowded but good fun. The French answer to American fast food."
