"Visited today, nice and sunny so sat outside in Marketplace. took my parents. We had the cold seafood platter, Yorkshire platter and a bowl of chips. Superb food, great service. staff helped mum who uses a walking aid to use downstairs staff toilet very helpful. One of the best pork pies and gammon ham all on sale in the shop. Great cheeses and the pickled onions are sublime. Everything beautifully presented. Worth a visit for all foodies ."

"Popped here after being let down for lunch with a friend (and it was on the way back to my car). I could smell the fish and chips! Got a small fish and chips well worth it. Cooked fresh to order, and with the option of open, wrapped or in a box, I made sure it was hot until I got back to the car in a box. Great fish and chips!"

"Lovely food as always the only thing wrong was the amount of chilli on the fried salt and pepper King prawns starter, it was a lot hotter than usual and took my breath away! A little less chilli and these will be perfect again!"

"Not a great experience I 'm afraid , my food was very bland . Fish grill was just exactly that , Just a plate of unseasoned fish . Waiter was very smarmy . I asked what comes with the fish grill ... he actually laughed and said fish ... What he should of said was a plate of non grilled fish with a tiny sprig of parsley 1 tiny prawn. And No sauce. We took a selfie it being our anniversary (you know just having fun) He remarked that if that happened when he worked in London he would of deleted the photograph !!!! Ok , thanks for that . Anyway . If any of the above sounds like your thing go for it . I wont be back I 'm afraid . Ill be giving my business to newer establishments with less of archaic views and service."
