"Really lovely bar, nice room and fab views over Coniston water. Several of the staff were so helpful and kind. The food in the pub was nice and I worked on my laptop in there, enjoying watching all the dogs. Great walks from close by. My cosy double was very nice just needed a brighter overhead light. "While the only vegan article on the menu is a tofu roasted sandwich, my wife and I both ordered this for our lunch. I have to say this was probably the best tofu sandwich I had in 26 years as strictly vegan. there were many tofu, marinated and covered in sesame seeds served with a mixture of grilled vegetables, the aubergine, paprika, wobbles and mushrooms, all in a sesame bee. absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, there was no vegan cake to go with our coffee, but after talking to the owner, I understand that they want to expand their vegan series. well worth visiting if they are in the opposite, but please encourage them to make more vegan food."
