"An unserem ersten Urlaubstag in Karlshagen entschieden wir uns für "Max", um unser Abendessen einzunehmen, da es von der Unterkunft das nächstgelegene Restaurant ist und die Speisekarte vielversprechend aussah. Leider ist das einzig Gute, was ich über dieses Lokal sagen kann, dass die Bedienung ausnehmend freundlich und bemüht war. Für den relativ hohen Preis der Speisen war die Qualität mehr als unterdurchschnittlich. Das Schlimmste aber war die 2-stündige Wartezeit. Aus den ärgerlichen Kommentaren der anderen Gäste erfuhren wir, dass niemand hier eher als nach 90 Minuten etwas zu essen bekam. Kein Wunder: Plätze für ca. 50 Gäste, aber nur 2 qm Küche mit 1 Koch und 1 Küchenhilfe - Überforderung vorprogrammiert. Bei uns dauerte es dann tatsächlich fast zwei Stunden, bis das sehr übersichtliche, angebrannte, trockene Schnitzel mit einer Handvoll sehr brauner Pommes kam. Für 11,90 ein absoluter Witz. Das Zanderfilet und der Kapitänsteller waren in Ordnung, aber für den Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet. Sahnehäubchen: Die Beleuchtung war ausgefallen, wir durften unser mittelmäßiges Mahl also im Schein eines einzelnen Teelichts einnehmen.Alles in allem eine enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir kommen bestimmt nicht wieder."

"In the Achterwasser near Wollgast the village is a little hidden. If you drive the rough headstone road of the place to the church, you will find it quickly. At first you can only see an old pavilion that covers the egent beauties of this café garden. In the past, such flowers and tree splendours called a peasant garden at any season a little inconspicuous beer, despite flowers with colorful aspects. Here is a small tree with a flower discount behind it a table for the café guests. The next table is a chair that is already occupied (usually it is Bruno, one of the evil cats of the garden is a thick brown cat that can be brushed). In another part of the garden there is a true adventure pilgrimage. In visible proximity there is some rest for the lost parents. In addition to the usual drinks, the owner's own cakes, cakes and dishes are to be mentioned. I'm not a friend of cakes and cakes, but be careful! These have the potential to make addiction. And that's how I made 2 pieces of cake. The bee engraving was covered with browned almonds and a beautiful caramel layer. The pudding fill only divine, but not too sweet. The poppy cake was wonderfully juicy people here you just have to go!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Smoked fish, delicious fish rolls and daily changing, good bourgeois lunch table. Always well visited, is well accepted by locals and tourists. In summer you can sit outside, then the fish sale takes place separately. In winter you will get your fish and fish rolls in the restaurant. I have eaten several times, once a cable fillet and otherwise like fish rolls. A good alternative to recovering food. Large Pott coffee costs only € 1.15. Thanks to the nice service."
