"Just had Battered fish and chips with chicken salt and it was perfection. The Flake was moist with lots of flavour and the batter was lovely and crispy without be to hard it was just right. I am not a great lover of chips but these I enjoyed with the chicken salt and some tomato sauce. I recommend this seafood and take-away very highly. I think you would find it hard to beat."

"Great service, good prices, but food is often over cooked and using old oil. Plus I often doubt how hygienic this store is watching them batter fish in reused batter that spends a decent amount of time sitting on the bench. Nothing special here I...would highly recommend going elsewhere first. Perhaps King's Fishery Caboolture awesome service and great fresh seafood, best I have found in the area so far."

"When this place first opened food was great. Today was over-cooked and tasteless. Potato scallops were burnt to a crisp $1.50 each for a wafer of potato and burnt batter. Posted a photo. Won't be back. Shame."

"My dad does uber eats delivery and he's been meaning to try Maria's fish and chips for a while now. Today we finally got some and it was marvellous. Everything was cooked perfectly and tastes great. Nice"

"Not quite our local but worth the 10min drive for the value. Staff are always cheerful and friendly, and that makes a difference for us, too! Platters are good value for money (large prawns, plenty of fish pieces) but the batter on our fish was a little soggy tasteless. Can't complain about the crumb and will keep coming back."

"What a sensational gorge. Just stunning. Unfortunately, Adels Grove is harmful. Our room was dirty, spider webs on the toilet, dirt in the shower, mud in the carpets and it stunk. It hasn't been cleaned for months. We weren't alone. We talked to bunches of guests and all had similar experiences. They had a broken toilet, another light, another one found cockroaches in their bed. The "restaurant" was dirty, the food was cooked on a dirty BBQ with Dodgy hygiene. Yuk! Great gorge is worth the ride. But don't stay at the property. Camping and being enough, it's much safer than this dirty place."
