"The kastanienhof is already from the outside an impressive, rustic building and has a beautiful farm that (we were there in november) can be used for glowing wine and tasty great. there is a small, very cozy dining room and a larger one in the original cellar vault. also the hall with attached bar, in which you can surely celebrate great firm. the Bavarian-Peruan menu is welcoming and offers something for both the glustererer to schweinsbratl and knödel as well as for a few unknown gaumenreize. the bier, goodman and wittmann, eh classic. but the most beautiful it is to see that here a family is together and a village farmer's house with a lot of effort and love for the detail has brought back to life. I'm very excited and was sure net for the last time."

"We have been to this restaurant on two different occasions and have had on both occasions a bad experience!We had a business meeting in this restaurant with the following issues: The first dinner was an organised dinner event that was organised very well, however the waiter who waited that tables was not a qualified waiter in any way! He dropped, glasses, plates and basically threw the menu at us as guests. His German was limited and his English was Zero! However his Italian was perfect.The first organised evening was well organised, however the food was not as qualitative as many other persons have quoted previously!The second “Business Dinner”The waitress who spoke excellent English and Turkish and was the friendliest person in the building, however she was also lacking professionalism!We requested a Vegetarian “anti pasta” and received a few slices of carrots, broccoli and egg- plant. At the price of € 8,50 this anti -pasta was of poor quality for an Italian style Anti Pasta!The main dish (mine) was Pasta with king Prawns (One of the most expensive dishes), The two business partners were served in advance and mine came approximately 9 minutes later (A long time if you put you finger in a fire). The Pasta was undercooked like cardboard!The waitress was approached and she handled the situation very well!She arrived back from the kitchen with the “Bad News” The kitchen staff would need approximately 15 minutes to re -serve the dish and would I prefer to order something else.I informed the waitress that I would prefer to have the King Prawn Italian Style dish! A good 30 minutes later the dish was presented!During the time that my business partners ate their meal (as I watched) I was not served a single item, such a bread or something else). The young Italian waiter with language barriers threw the dish down and left without a word!The unfortunate issue in this case was when the waitress took my plate she took my cutlery!I was re served a meal 30 minutes later and I had to wait another 8 minutes to get new cutlery! As the staff were all overwhelmed due to the fact that the restaurant was full!The most unfortunate issue in this case was that the owner “The Cook” was sitting outside during the whole fiasco smoking his cigarettes!I was then approached by the restaurant owner a little later in the evening! The only question he asked was if we would like to pay! He was not interested of our opinion of the evening! A previous member complained about the food being warmed up and the discontent of his complaint! I would like to confirm his “Nicht Kulant/ Not Accommodating” We shall not be taking any further business clients to this restaurant!For a quick Pizza and poor service this restaurant is good enough!"

"We were eating with the family, so we could enjoy a small selection. Basically we felt very much like in a Greek taverne: simply furnished and very nice service.Leider there were small mängel while eating: the gyros was not as expected freshly prepared but unfortunately warmed up with the corresponding side effects like up to the crispy dry meat. the pommes were very fat, but we didn't experience that any other way during our Greek stays )-: however, you should have handled the salt much more sparingly. the filet was unfortunately no longer the Aller-Jüngste (both what was going on as well as the age of the native animal) and also cut up along the fiber, so that you had to work out more mouth-righteous ugly."
