"I love District Wine. They are so knowledgeable about their wines and the happy hour is fantastic. Very classy. I came here because it is close by....and it did not disappoint. "Cozy restaurant.This is one of my most favorite restaurants. Also, it is a restaurant that my food-picky-husband says, YES. People working here are nice. Taste is very good.I love spicy stir-fried seafood, stir-fried rice, and orange chicken, which I ordered for to go .I think the stir-fried rice is just what Japanese want. Orange chicken was still good the next day.The other day, I tried seafood soup and green curry for my dinner. Sea food soup is a bit sour and having a unique Thai food flavor. Clear taste, you can enjoy even if it gets cold. Green curry is a taste of coconut. Creamy and not spicy. They are good as well.I 'd like to try every menus.I hope they get through this slump caused by the rising cost from the Ukraine-Russia war."

"This place is amazing!! Great customer service, and the food is so delicious!! Great price and great portions. I had the Thai ice tea, didn't take a pic : , but it was really good, it had a tangy taste to it, very sweet though. The chicken satay was delicious, the chicken was marinated really well. I had the spicy shrimp fried rice and it was amazing!! Definitely very spicy!! I drank a lot of water. My bf had the curry soup with chicken and egg noodles, not sure what it's called, but it's from the northern Thai section of the menu. It was super delicious as well!! And that says something because I'm very picky when it comes to curry being too sweet and not spicy enough. The mango rice dessert was soo good!!! The mango was fresh and perfect ripeness, and the rice and sauce was so good. Will come back!!"

"Honestly this is one of the best Thai food restaurants in Southern California. Spicy sugar is located in Long Beach and it?s a restaurant that has been handed from father to daughter. The food is good, fresh and authentic. I liked all the dishes that were brought out. The waiting time for the food to come out is not long. The staff and the owner are really attentive, friendly and helpful. Please check this restaurant out and treat yourself."

"I wanted to like this place : maybe i caught them on a off or busy night, i always like to give people the benefit of the doubt even if my first experience was bad. With that being said i ordered pad see ew and the fresh vegan spring rolls. Pad see ew: had good flavor but my stomach was instantly turned because the amount of oil used was excessive...some bites it was dripping off the noodles. And i thought for the price the portion was quite small. Vegan spring rolls: presentation was nice, they put edible flowers in them, and the peanut sauce was good, kinda chunky but tasted fine. The filling is my major gripe. Sorry but how are you going to fill a spring roll with literally NOTHING but mixed greens. No cucumber, carrot, tofu....like COME ON for $8??? Thats a major rip off."
