"Harvest Rd. Is a true example of farm to table as it is literally situated on Michells farm where they get most of their fresh ingredients from. The amazingly flavourful beef and the vegetables are from the surrounding five hundred acres that is Michells farm. Even the food wraps, trays and utensils are composted on site and reintroduced into the fields of the farm via their huge composting operation just down the road. The burgers we had were one of the best I’ve eaten, and believe me, I’ve eaten a lot of burgers. The fries were thick and hand pulled; Deep fried to perfection. The coleslaw was fresh and refreshing. Chatting with the owners, Jenni and Brendan was fantastic, hearing their story and seeing their pride in what they do really made the whole meal an experience. "Bar none, the best high tea experience in Victoria. Menu is stunningly beautiful and even more delicious. We’ve tried every place for high tea in Victoria and this is our favourite. Love the season changes to the menu, and at $50 it’s expensive but not unreasonable. 6 stars!!"

"We ordered steak, pasta and cheesecake. Everything was very delicious and portions were big, especially steak which came with fries and broccolini. The restaurant was very clean and tidy and staff were friendly and professional. We enjoyed the dinner and will definitely come again when we visit the garden."

"The Prairie Inn Pub is just down the road from us and is our place of choice for pub food, however, I have to say that we have never had better fish and chips anywhere in Victoria as we had tonight! Everything was outstanding, the place was jam packed but that didn 't show... the great service and friendliness from all the servers was outstanding. Carol was our drinks lady and really impressed us when she arrived with a flask of hot water to top up one of our glasses (crazy I know drinking hot lemon water, but that 's another story lol)... Seriously though, where have you ever had that? I have to give this fabulous pub a 5 Star rating! we couldn 't fault it and to top it off; the barman acknowledged us as we passed on our way out with a super friendly smile and a 'Have a good one, folks! ' Well done to the owners, managers and staff!"

"We went to the White Spot in Saanichton on December 4th for an early dinner at 4:30 p.m with family, and it was very good. We all enjoyed our meals, and our waitress was very attentive. We decided the following week that we would go again, this time for breakfast, and this time with different family members. We went on December 11th and after we ate and said our Good-Byes to our family members in the parking lot, I said to my husband How was your breakfast? and then I proceeded to say that mine was stone cold. He replied by saying Those were by far the worst fried eggs I have ever had in my entire life. So .... unfortunately I 'm not sure we are going to be rushing back to this White Spot any time soon. Dinner was good, breakfast not so much."
