"My husband and i just got back this morning. Just a short two night getaway after the passing of our fur baby .we were greeted and welcomed by Mark and all i can say is we can’t wait to go back! Prime area with hikes at the Promiseland state park , and many other things to do .The rooms clean and Beautiful, food delicious , Beautiful sitting porch with rocking chairs . We just love this area ."

"Great food cooked by Marty, the willing-to-chat male counterpart of this friendly owner/couple duo who offer warm hospitality; country decor interior filled with items of a bygone era; totally wired and renovated, big old house with its own backup power generators Wi-Fi; a rural setting of mountainous woodlands; small, nearby town; everything you'd want in a bed breakfast inn--like grandma's old country house without the old smell and with a private bathroom for every guest couple .... we'll definitely visit again"

"Note: Cash only! They do have an atm. Stopped in for some breakfast sandwiches this morning--I have to say, we've been coming to the area for years and I'm pretty mad I just came in here for the first time. Gave me some ny deli vibes without the hustle-bustle, brusqueness, and city prices. Also, there's some really nice seating, self-serve coffee, the ability to buy and grind coffee beans, fresh pastries, etc. Essentially a classic deli/coffee shop, but done to perfection. Everyone I interacted with was very kind, and the food was superb (and really cheap for the quality). I'll be back! Also a note--I saw one of the more heartwarming interactions between a staff member and regular that I've ever seen. A regular came in who I gathered was going through a rough patch, and he was offered a hug, which he accepted. I tell this story because it's apparent that this is a place run by good people that care about the community. They deserve your patronage."
In nice weather you can even eat in the outdoor area.

"Good service and good food. We had seafood and it was excellent. Only complaint was that they were out of the first 3 wines we asked for and then poured and charged for the larger pour of wine without asking."
