"This location is attached to a hilton hotel. through the construction was the outside completely locked so that I came through the hotel only to find the sign (down) told me it was only for hotel guests. I caught someone coming out so I could snoop in. the layout was very different than most standsites. the kitchen was somehow behind the bar so much activity. it feels almost a first-class diner. the bartender made my experience the best. I came to lunch and it was very busy, but she remained pretty good and still was happy. she made it a really funny time. I'd go back, but probably after the building, I didn't feel fabulous."

"My highway mowing crew decided almost unanimously to make this our dinner stop for the night. With world famous on the sign, we had to find out for ourselves. We were greeted and seated promptly! Our waitress had fun and took great care of us.The chicken was phenomenal! The spice is great and not too hot. Slaw and beans were delicious. Highly recommend the Chess and or Chocolate Chess pie!All in all a delightful experience, we'll definitely be back!"

"I love that they are reconstructing but they did have anything fries, soda, water, and I asked for bottom buns only and of course got the top and bottom. I mean for me to have spent 25+ dollars on two meals I should have gotten what I asked for…customer service is great listening skills not so much and supplies need to be stocked"

"My favorite restaurant in St. Louis. The vibe is different depending on who's working and the music they're playing. Sometimes it's punk music, sometimes classic rock. The place is absolutely gorgeous, with an STL-themed mural on the ceiling and tons of art to check out while you eat. I don't even know where to begin on the food. You really can't go wrong! I get the Paint Your Own Pizza usually, with veggies and white sauce. Their appetizers are incredible--the Lil Bread is great, with balsamic-rosemary oil to dip it in. Also the goat cheese marinara dip. And when I used to drink, their house white wine was my favorite. I just love the ambience, the location, and the people. The food is really a bonus. These pics are older so please excuse any changes."

"Let?s be clear?this is the best food around. My wife and I drove from Dallas, TX to get here because it is the closest one to us. We used to go to the one in Chicago when we lived there and we just needed to have it again. You cannot go wrong with anything here. "I have eaten many sushi at different places, but the sushi here was by far the best I have ever eaten! we also had the spring rolls as an appetizer (delict! and the garnelen hibachi (also delicious) the fuji roll is simply excellent and the butterfly shrimp is excellent! service was not above the top big, but it was still good. I can't wait to go back!"
