"Das Fomaz liegt 5 Gehminuten vom geschichtsträchtigen Tellsdenkmal entfernt, ist schlicht in der Einrichtung und bemerkenswert im Empfang. Nicht aufgesetzt, entspannt und authentisch gastfreundlich. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt.Der Auftakt mit Apero war für die ganze Tischgesellschaft ein Muss. Vom lokalen Stiärbier bis hin zum Lillet Culetto mit Weisswein, Minze und Gurke war die Basis für viel Geselligkeit gelegt.Die Speisekarte ist umfassend und bunt gemischt. So genossen wir sehr schmackhafte Vorspeisen von der klassischen Bruschetta über Vitello Tonnato, Tigercrevetten im Teig bis hin zu Teryaki-Pouletspiessli an Sojasauce. Die Hauptgänge waren ebenso deliziös und multikulti wie die Vorspeisen. Ob Entrecôte vom Ürner Mezg, roter Thai-Curry mit ganz viel Crevetten, Red Snapper Filet und Moussaka.... Die Mise en place war sehr sorgfältig, die Gerichte perfekt gewürzt und stilecht. Die Weinkarte bot eine exquisite Auswahl, darunter ein rotes Träumchen aus der Toskana, dem alle ausnahmslos verfielen.Zu guter Letzt gab es Kaiserschmarrn erster Güte zum Kaffee und eine sehr leckere Auswahl Digestifs. Wir wurden kulinarisch rundum verwöhnt und toll bedient. Herzlichen Dank an das ganze Team.Übrigens: Das Fomaz ist ein geniales Integrationsprojekt des Schweizerischen Roten Kreuzes. Bei solch hohem Qualitätsstandard nicht nur eine Trouvaille, sondern ein nachahmungswertes Exempel aus dem historischen Herzen der Schweiz. Wir kommen gerne wieder."
