"I give it one star, because the terrace where we ate dinner is very good and very comfortable. We were two people on our way back home, from a long trip made in the day. We stopped to refuel and saw the terrace. The waiter suggested some Pan Bao, which were very tasty; somewhat small, but very rich. Since they took a while to bring them and we were in a hurry since we had 3 hours left to get home, we asked the waiter for something to cook quickly. He recommended an old cow steak to the point, which was done quickly. After waiting about 30 minutes, he brought us a cold T-bone steak, which was from an old cow but from Africa, because that had more nerves than lean meat. On the menu it appears as a premium T-bone steak at €40, which I would have willingly paid for, if it had been served to us quickly, hot and of a much, much better quality. It seems to me an abuse, to deceive clients in this way, simply because they are passing through and they are not from the place or I do not know what the reason would be. Of course, I will never, ever recommend lunch or dinner here and if the owner who was there at the table across the street reads this, the least he could do is return the €40 for that piece of meat full of nerves, which we didn't even finish eating. . I'm not eating premium beef, every day; but I know perfectly well how it tastes when it's supposedly of quality and this one wasn't even remotely. 8/24/23 I respond to the owner's comment: Read the text well and look at the ticket, before responding to my review. 1. We ordered a drink for two and two Pan Bao and no more tapas; look at the ticket. Point and followed. 2. Seeing that the Pan Bao did not come, we ordered the meat to advance time; New paragraph. 3. We didn't ask for more tapas, because we saw that at the speed that the food came out, we would still be there. 4. The meat was just as I describe it; no more no less. You can see in the photo, that we didn't eat it all (two adult men) because I was full of nerves. Cold passes, but the nerves and tendons at a Premium price......come on man! 5. More than 1 hour and a half for what it says on the ticket. Point and end. PS: It is unlikely that you remember that I told you anything, because this happened last year. In addition to being expensive, you are a liar. I have published the review now and not before, because I passed by the highway recently and I remembered the terrible experience of that night, which I did not complain about at that moment either, because we still had three hours left on the road and after waiting 1.5 hours for Malcenar, I didn't feel up to it either.
