"Salento is not an area reknowned for its meat, that is fine,as the local cuisine can make up for that no prob, but after several months of fish and seafood and fresh cheeses, a nice steak is surely appreciated. we found the braceria by word of mouth and rightly so. The place was first a butcher shop and still is on one half of the building. I had a strip steak with french herbed butter, which was very tasty, but my husband's burger really caught my attention. The perfect combo of Italian and American. The bun was fresh and puffy, but not prefab and the fries were great. The restaurant is geared towards a younger crowd but that was half the fun. The prices were fair, about 35 euro for two. WE went back the next days for some BBQ meat and it was all very good. We will return!"
