"Located on the river bank in the old town of Montaigu, this small family-run restaurant is proud to serve with fresh ingredients (regional) French dishes and surround everything with a beautiful, warm and friendly atmosphere. We have closed our summer holidays with the family in this restaurant and really enjoyed us. The crew will be happy to advise you on your meals and drinks when required in English. My wife, as a vegetarian, also had a lot of choice. We had calf, pig and fish and all were very delicious. Special reference to desserts, we had the hairdress and cafe gourment . If you are around, treat yourself and your friends to a good meal in La Digue."

"We went to this restaurant because it was adjacent to our hotel. I am extremely glad that we did. The staff were charming and attentive without being intrusive, and the food was extremely good. We went for the set menu at 21.50 euros and the quality was really good. My fish was just about perfect and my partner said that it was a long time since he had enjoyed a piece of beef so much (he was a butcher so he should know! The 3 course meal was all we could wish for, rounded off with a pichet of rose which was most acceptable. Very good value for money and a pleasant setting"
