"One colleague has recommended the Bischofsmühle several times. Today, on a Friday night, it finally worked with a visit. In nice weather we wanted to eat. The trip is not easy. At the end about 3 km on a gravel road to the mill. There the mill awaits us, beautifully romantic at the brook in the middle of the forest on a small light. The beer garden is beautifully decorated while the pillows sometimes lack on the chairs, but otherwise the location and equipment is beautiful. The guest room is very nice in small rustic pastries, the event rooms. In the garden the reception was very tasteful for a wedding. The map was good, fish, a lot of beef, ice skates as a daily special, but the prices were expensive, ice skates 14,80€, that you in the Frankenwald sometimes at half price. Since we only wanted to eat a little on Friday night, I decided for the sausage salad for 6,80€. Unfortunately, the part was small and tastefully nothing special. The bread was disappointing. I was looking forward to a fresh, crispy peasant or land bread, I have a ready bread from the day before. When I communicated this to the service, it was first commented with ok, then of course the sausage salad, which was already sold out today, is offered a peasant bread. Should I not receive this information when ordering? Or at dinner? I wonder if a simple court unfortunately has only a moderate quality, how is that for expensive dishes? There is a quote from Schubeck that he expects a good cook to understand his craft for simple dishes, such as meat plants before he creates special dishes. In this sense, I am unfortunately disappointed by the Bishops' Mill and will probably not allow to eat something special there."

"Pfingstmontag 2016 das Ambiente ist sehr schön, Bedienung freundlich, aber das Essen war nicht ganz selbst gekocht. Zwar schön eingerichtet am Teller, aber die Klöße waren aus Fertigmasse geformt, nur die Butter-Brockla waren wirklich in Butter gebraten. Fleisch nicht knusprig gebraten ( Schäufela ) , wenig Soße! Rehbraten könnte weicher sein, wenig Soße, mit fertig Sossenpulver und Zucker-Couleur abgeschmeckt.Rotkraut war lauwarm. Sauerkraut war gut. FAZIT: Lieber nix, als schlecht zu essen! Schade ums Geld!"

"The farm is very quiet in a small village. Besides the inn there's nothing else to see here. The rooms are appropriately furnished but have come in the years. Bathrooms are very small and should be renewed once. We slept very well mattresses were ok and the location of the accommodation allows the windows to be opened at night. Breakfast is quite ok but from the second day there were no eggs left. Served at the table there is no buffet. The restaurant has closed on Sunday and Monday . The food is not so great here, because we have eaten much better in the vicinity. Anyone who wants to stay for a cheap time is here very well."
