"We stopped here while going to east side of glaciers and coming back. It closes at 8 pm. This place was recommended by a park ranger so we gave it a try. Really good thin crust pizza and good sandwiches on freshly baked bread. They also have ice creams including huckleberry flavor. They also have espresso which seemed like popular choice for lot of people. There are tables to sit outside and eat. Gravel parking lot which is small but more than enough for customers. They also have other groceries which you might need for camping."

"Had breakfast there twice. Had a really good breakfast there twice. Had a really BIG breakfast there twice. So to sum it up, I had a really good, really big breakfast there.... twice. If you haven't been there, you've got to eat there.... at least once."

"Ryan is the best hotel host ever! This place was such an unexpected jewel. We were just one night here at the end of the season and Ryan was so super, amazingly helpful, knowledgeable and informative. I can't wait to stay here next time. Oh, and we don't forget the property. It is so clear and lovingly cared for. The room was very clean, the shower drained well and the bed was very comfortable (the best night sleep on our trip). Otherwise, the room was generous with plenty of space to sit around the table, access to the refrigerator/freezer, etc. We came late in the season so we don't have the picnic area, but I look forward to doing this, the next time you enjoy the property full."

"Nice dinner, great dessert. The Whistle Stop was a popular place at night, we there in pensioners, young couples, families and bikers were all a stop for a bite, filling the interior and the terrace. Some were only advertised for Huckleberry Pie, heavily on a shield outside. We enjoyed half an order of pork ribs that were covered in a good but not spicy bbq sauce and accompanied by either a rather undescribed potato or potato salad. I also had a small bowl with creamy cauliflower soup that I enjoyed very much. Half a number of ribs was more than enough, only someone with a great appetite would be able to finish a complete order. Overall, the food was good, but I enjoyed more dessert. We naturally tried the Huckleberry Piee (although there were a variety of other cakes), which was very good, with a sweet but not too thick crust."

"They may have changed the name to East Glacier Restaurant but I am not sure. Anyways, we were hungry after hiking around the east side of glacier all day and stumbled upon this place. There was a sign on the door saying their credit card machine was down and it was cash only (6/22/18). We had cash so we decided to go in. The place was a ghost town, however it looked like they may be doing some renovations. There was only one to go order besides us the whole time we were in the restaurant. Needless to say though, we were served extremely quickly with a friendly waiter. The fry bread was delicious that they served us ahead of the meal. Their portions are big and the food was delicious. My wife got the country fried steak and I got the huckleberry pork chops. We would definitely go again when visiting East Glacier."

"Friendly waiting staff welcomed us immediately. Breakfast was delicious and large. We had chicken fried steak and a sharp pepper litter (both with very tasty hash browns) and enjoyed both. Would like to go back!"
