"I had the baby chicken and my boyfriend the chicken burger. The baby chicken was loverly and I'm told the burger was average. Service was quick and prompt and we sat in the raised seating area which was lighter and less noisy!"

"One of our parties is disabled. I had before, but no thought obvious how I came and asked how we could get out of the way of the slope in just many steps or long. No disabled parking spaces signed or advised anywhere near the building. Also climb up and down into the toilet not disabled friendly. Had the chance to have cups of tea up and hot water option, but not. Food was good and cups of tea we had good. staff pleasant and has not rushed us"

"We stayed at the hotel for our wedding anniversary in June and decided to try out the restaurant for dinner. Staff were lovely however seemed very over worked although the restaurant only half full. We didn't get offered any bread, the wine took ages to come and we saw it being taken to and fro a few times apparently it wasn't cold so was put in an ice bucket, it wasn't cold but was cool, then the prawn and chicken curry came without the prawns so we had to ask for them! It was nice when it turned up though. Our starters of prawn cocktail and smoked salmon cannelloni were amazing, really tasty. The bill was quite expensive for what we had, the prawn and chicken curry was nice but was over £16 which was a bit on the expensive side for what was some chicken, prawn, butternut squash and rice. There was lots of renovation going on before the new restaurant opens and maybe everything is being put in that instead. It was a shame because we were really looking forward to it, we had a nice time we were laughing at all the problems, wouldn't rush back though."

"A really good vegan menu with choices like Mushroom Wellington, enchiladas tofu Katsu Curry When we visited on Sunday, I had the Vegan Nut Roast Carvery-the mother roasts herself was delicious came with vegan engraving. I went to the carousel to choose my vegetables - today the offer was Broccoli, Schwede Maische, Petersnips, Kohl, Karotten Röstkartoffeln. Pudding was biscoff cheesecake with vanilla ice cream Very pleasant service and large portions forgotten to take photo"
