"Our waiter was fantastic, the atmosphere was fine but the table we were at was very cold, as in temperature cold, due to a vent that was behind us. When the website described it as fine Italian dining, I would not have expected pub food to be on the menu. I found prices to be high for the menu items themselves (15.99 for a pound of wings 25.99 for 2lbs?? but for pub fare, the food was decent. I would never refer to it as fine dining on any level and I feel that it's very misleading especially when you can't seem to find their menu online anywhere!!"

"Incredible Anniversary celebration meal. The mussels, homemade sauce and pasta were incredible. Large portion of seafood served in pasta, and prices extremely affordable. The decor was stunning an unexpected. Our server Mary could not do enough. Rose petals on the table and the staff came out to sing Happy anniversary. Our new secret little gem. Highly recommend it. We will go back."

"Had my wedding at The Royal Ambassador in September 2016. The venue is beautiful for an outdoor wedding. The indoors are in need of some TLC. The food is good. Very frustrating dealing with staff leading up to the wedding day. They seem to know what your vision is but then don't execute on day of wedding. Had some vegetarians served the meat entre, our dessert was nothing like what was served to us during our taste testing (the presentation was horrible and very embarrassing), and they missed on execution of the little things (no tablecloths on the patio tables, forgot to use our reserved signs for the pews and a few other misses). You feel like you're part of a production line because they have a few weddings going on at the same time/day. When we sent senior staff a letter with our concerns, they just sent us back a 'form letter apology' and didn't address any of the concerns we stated. Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this venue for a wedding."

"Took my wife for a birthday lunch on May 2023. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant and deserves more than a 5 Star rating. Plenty of parking, well manicured grounds with beautiful patio (not open that day) with an outstanding view of Innis lake. The service from our Server, Nicholas, was simply outstanding professional, yet friendly and humorous too. Décor and the ambiance of the small restaurant is fantastic and very cozy and not crowded. The food is just out of this world!!!! The grilled Calamari starter was perfectly grilled and delicious. My wife had the Mahi Mahi and I had a grilled (3 jumbo) shrimp special which was to die for. The frozen Raspberry Cheesecake is sumptuous! You have to try this place! The value is unbeatable."

"As local residents, we made a last minute decision to finally try Tom's. No regrets at all and pleasantly surprised when it wasn't packed as usual. It is a small and intimate family restaurant which we really loved. Has a true country diner feel which we were looking for. Tucked in to the little town of Caledon East. We ordered the Cheeseburger and two Tom's Specials. Everything was delicious and fresh. Plated very nicely. Portions just right. Prices very affordable. Server and staff were attentive and welcoming. Our new found love for those quick breakfast /lunch meals. We will definitely be regulars and are happy to support our local businesses. Thanks to everyone for a lovely experience. See you again very soon."
