"We had booked another apartment, but they canceled our reservation in the last minute and changed our stay in hotel hellermann. everything was excellent. the owner is a very nice, helpful and friendly man. (he even came to check us from the family wedding,...so we had a place to sleep when our previous hotel canceled our booking in the last minute! very generous! the rooms are beautifully clean, the beds very comfortable. we also got hand towels and the owner's wife made us coffee on the morning. So it was very nice! we had a room with a balcony that was great. beautiful rest everywhere! I simply recommend it to everyone!"

"Wir wollten eigentlich nur frühstücken, aber das werden wir in Zukunft sein lassen. Zumindest in dieser Filliale - denn unser Frühstück war etwas besonderes - nicht richtig frisch, die Croissant aufgebacken - als ich anschneiden wollte zerbröselte das Ding regelrecht, meinem Mann ging es genauso - Bedienung brauchte seeehr lange um die Bestellung aufzunehemen , um zu servieren und auch um zu kassieren ... danke, aber das möchte ich nicht mehr!"

"I highly recommend to dine at the Bootshaus Restaurant on Seewalchen am Attersee. The food is always fresh, the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is very friendly! I've probably eaten here a dozen or so times and make it a special point to stop at Bootshaus every time I am in Austria! Right off the Autobahn if you are driving to/from Linz/Salzburg. Easy to find and enough parking too."

"OK... This is a review of both the HOTEL and the RESTAURANT. Hotel first The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Unfortunately, upon entering the room there was a very unpleasant smell emanating from the bathroom. I suspect it was simply the sink drain...needing bleach... This is a simple point, but certainly gives a poor first impression. The beds were comfortable although the pillows were useless offering no head support whatsoever. There is also a mood light above the bed this cycles through most colours of the rainbow you'll either find this novel or cheesy depending on your perspective... Either way, it's bright! The restaurant the food was good. The presentation was certainly impressive with some very interesting plate arrangements. One using a brandy glass in which the food was resting. (You'd have to see it to understand it! However, the service was also interesting... One waitress seemed to know nothing about the menu... and was disinterested in our questions... The others were okay, but seemed rushed... Perhaps they were short staffed on the day we visited. Overall... It was an interesting experience but it lacked something that would have made it a great experience."
