"The only reason I'm giving them a two because our waiter was wonderful. The food was not good . My salad was disgusting. It tasted like vomit covered lettuce. Harsh, but I couldn't eat it. The pasta with pfefferlinge was edible but was flavorless. I guess I would've given there tomato basil soup a three. Overall, just extremely disappointed."

"In 2008 we found the pension the restaurant linde more or less random and since then we have been so enthusiastic that we made it to the exit quarter for our hikes on the dream loop saar hunsrück. in the meantime we have been there for fifty times and have eaten only and always well in the evening, if not just a rest day, whether regional or seasonal preparations. there was a greeting to every dish from the kitchen that has never been repeated yet, although of course individual components have already appeared again. it is already very amazing and rewarding that at a place like ayl they can keep such a kitchen and wish that the offer will be sustained by plentiful use of the guests. we can highly recommend in every hinsicht pension and restaurant."

"We went there for a dinner with our two children and our grandparents. The restaurant is directly located at the old castle, you can have a nice view from there over the hole city of Saarburg. Inside the restaurant you feel like a old knight. It is definitely authentic. The food was very fresh and tasty! Beef comes from the region, local beer and excellent wines are available. We will go there again! Definitely."

"1x Schnur Bleu, 1x Wiener Schnitzel. Tasteful for the lowest price. Have never eaten such a bad carving in my life. The Cordon Bleu gets a 4-. Pommes only taste fat. Announces why you don't eat the scavenger, you said the truth that it tastes tasteful old. The owner felt totally insulted and you should come to the kitchen and see how fresh it is. There you became slightly aggressive, not a form of apology. They felt crowded and shocked. We haven't experienced any such uneasiness in our entire lives. We didn't mention the sweet salad with a piece of cucumber. The place is a tourist destination. We could at least return the carving and only pay the Cordon Bleu."

"My wife and I visited Saarburg to see the famous waterfall and to have a meal as close as possible to the waterfall. We found this restaurant amazing close to the waterfall and we sat outiside. The food was fine and the prices quite...reasonable given the location next to the falls and in a touristy area. The service was on the slow side, despite the fact that the number of people in the restaurant was relatively low. When my wife and I stopped in, it was a bit late for lunch and it was raining. A fine experience and we would happily stop in here, again, for lunch."
