"I usually go to the other chip shops further down the hill but decided to try this one due to it being so busy elsewhere. All I can say is I am hooked , the fish and chips were absolutely yummy , staff very friendly and prices very reasonable. Well worth the walk up the hill , you will not be disappointed"

"Visited yesterday, very quiet with not many people in the cafe/restaurant area and no one seated outside made me worry it would be awful but the rest of the family had decided it would be fine. Food was lovely, cooked nicely and tasted nice. The price was disappointing however for a family of 4, £42.75! However, not massively uncommon based on its seaside location. I found the male member of staff a bit off, rushed and completely uninterested despite there being no other customers waiting to be served. Outdoor area could have used litter picking and some tables wiping down. Probably wouldn’t return but tolerable visit."

"Absolutely loved the scampi and chips! Both tasted incredibly fresh. Also a bonus to have seats outside and on the roof, with the ice cream store next door for pudding! Would highly recommend both!"
