"After late summer holidays in Faaborg and discovered a little unexpected Faaborg Smokeeri Cafe during a walk. Ordered a little food and drink it all super OK but that struck me was the operation it is very rare that you experience so engaged and polite young people behind the disk and among the tables which were abandoned all the time. We visited the café several times and were always met with big smiles and happy comments."

"Great stay and super dinner We had a stay with 3 dishes menu and breakfast on optional slot in silver wedding gift of our children. The choice fell at Hvedholm Castle because we could visit our daughter at the same occasion. We were several times contacted by the staff of the palace in the day up to our arrival, which was Tuesday because they would inform us that we would be the only guests of the castle on the day. This did we not consider any problem, as our purpose was total connectivity and relaxation. We were greeted by a flink young man at the reception (han called Thomas), who directed us a room in the main building. It was a nice and lovely room, and we felt almost completely royal, so to walk around the beautiful living rooms on the castle alone. We got coffee/tea and sweet served in one of the living rooms at the restaurant. It was a really delicious cake! Then a little relaxation in the room before dinner was waiting at 18.00, which agreed with Thomas. Here was an experience beyond the usual. Our very private chief of the evening (not unfortunately his name), served one culinary experience after the other. We got the most intense and tasty onion soup for dishonest, we could have eaten us saturated in it alone, it was delicious. After this young, fried pink and incredibly juicy. The Garnituren was sirups marinated carrots, celery, fried gateobello mushrooms and small fried wilderness potatoes. In addition to the delicious estragon sauce. There was so plenty of it all! My husband got incredibly delicious wines served for dinner, and our boss/cook/serve “krydrede” dinner with funny stories from the castle, but we also talked about many other topics. Time run and we had served lun chocolate brownie with homemade vanilla ice cream, crumble and strawberries/rabarber coulis. We finished all the senses, we finished dinner with a Irish coffee, and then we thanked for incredibly delicious dinner and great service. We are sure that the outdoor surroundings of the castle would have been beautiful to experience at another season, but now we chose so a winter stay, so we did not so much. We think it was a great stay and the staff have a great proportion of the wonderful experience. Warmest recommendation from the two soul relays from Tølløse."
