"We were in the brand new VIP lodge. A beautiful spacious safari tent with good beds, good shower, silent dishwasher and wonderful spacious veranda. We thought that the campsite was really on the lake. However, there is a fence between and bosses. So unfortunately there is no lake view. What we expected and hoped for. However, the lake is just around the corner with wonderfully clean and refreshing water and on beautiful days between 13 and 19 o'clock with life guards. The campsite organizes some small-scale activities such as a pizza evening and karaoke. These last until 23 hours at the latest. You can also get a simple but tasty (snack) meal or cocktail. Campsite is fairly quiet. No loud music, etc. Many Dutch families. The owners of the campsite are friendly. Fresh bread rolls every morning if you place your order in advance. More than enough fun and spectacular activities in the area. However, you won't get anywhere without a car. Super large supermarket less than 10 minutes drive away. There is really only 1 drawback and that is the highway, which is about 100 meters from the campsite as the crow flies. We found this to produce a lot of noise, especially at night. We did not find the train tracks disturbing. We had great weather. During the day it was around 30 degrees and at night it cooled down nicely. We recommend this campsite. Tips, notices: Bring water shoes, the lake has many small and large stones. The tent has blankets and sheets. 1 blanket per bed. We were therefore a bit chilly at night. There is no heating or anything. So if you are a bit chilly, bring some extra bedding or thick pajamas. The veranda is shaded in the morning and early afternoon. Do you like to sit in the sun. Then bring garden chairs. The tent only has a picnic table and fixed bench on the terrace Rooms: 3 full rooms with good beds. Nearby activities: The lake has the possibility to rent pedal boats and sups. There are many fun activities by car. With children, the (aqua) Wam park (15 min. drive) is recommended. Walkability: You can't really get around here without a car. Unless you just want to walk and swim. Food drinks: The snack bar has a simple menu. Cocktails are very tasty. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value"
