"13:45 Uhr in Grünstadt und der Hunger drückt. Wir dringen in die Fussgängerzone ein und mache ein griechisches Restaurant aus. Leider winkt der Kellner ab. Mittagspause ab 14:00 Uhr. Wir müssen weiter ziehen, allerdings nur ein paar Meter. Dort ist die Thai Corner, auch aussen schön bestuhlt und so lassen wir uns nieder. Nach kurzem Studium der Karte wird zügig geordert. Der sehr freundliche Service nimmt auf, als Vorspeise ein gemischter Teller für zwei (€ 9,90), als Hauptgang für mich Hühnerfleisch mit Nudeln und Gemüse (€ 7,90). Dazu möchten wir einen Sauvignon Blanc vom Weingut Metzger ordern, müssen aber enttäuscht zur Kenntnis nehmen, dass dieser Wein gerade nicht vorrätig ist. Wir weichen auf einen Pfälzer Weissburgunder aus, der uns nicht enttäuschen wird und süffig unser Mahl begleitet. Die Vorspeisen sind verschiedene frittierte gefüllte Fleischtaschen, Gemüse und Fleischstückchen, alles sehr lecker und fein gewürzt. Auch mein Hauptgericht ist sehr fein abgeschmeckt, enthält viel Hühnerfleisch und eine grosse Menge an verschiedenen Gemüsen, alles knackig und bissfest. So darf es gerne sein für mich, denn weich gekochtes Gemüse ist für mich ein Gräuel. Leider komme ich nicht oft nach Grünstadt sonst könnte das ein Lieblings-Restaurant sein."
