"We booked a table spontaneously and the only downside to the evening was trying to find parking. The food was fantastic, both my husbands and mine, the service was quick and friendly and the bill ended up being much smaller than what we had expected from such a fancy place with such great food. Just lovely."

"We had lunch at Potters during a recent visit to Luebeck. We sat outside, which was nice, but aside from the view, Potters had nothing to offer during our visit. The service was particularly bad. We were seated and given a menu, but it was not for another 15 minutes that we actually saw our waitress. The food is basic German, with a few twists. The ladies next to us had ordered the beef special, which looked good. We were going to order this whenever our waitress arrived, but on her way to our table she was stopped by the two ladies, one of whom sent her meal back. I speak German, and she told the waitress that the roast was raw inside, and the potatoes were "disgusting." Upon hearing that, we quickly decided to go with the "tried and true" Wiener Schnitzel. Alas, the schnitzel that arrived was burnt on one side and had grisle all along one side. Not very appetizing.Aside from the excellent location, across from the Salt Warehouses, Potter's has nothing to offer. Sorry."

"It seemed like a nice place to go to. The décor is very traditional and we got a nice, private booth for dinner. We had high hopes for the restaurant, but the food was not good at all. We had schnitzels, mine was super greasy...(the meat almost slipped off the plate on to me as the waitress was placing it on the table! and the mushroom topping wasn't very generous. My husbands schnitzel was the same, we didn't eat them all and told the waitress who offered us complimentary coffee, but our appetite was gone. The waitress also got our drink order wrong, and then our food order wrong. She checked on us once during the hour we were there. The food isn't inedible, but it's not worth going here if you have few days in Lubeck when there are so many better restaurants."

"A beautifully decorated place in the heart of Lübeck. The friendly staff serves a really delicious burger that can be adapted. The prices are very good and in place you just feel comfortable.
