"I visited here summer 2018 and was happy to find vegan cheeses, baked tofu, regular tofu-in individual portion sizes even. There was also a decent selection of organic and conventional products. "I ordered the soup of the day without the toppings to keep it vegan. It was sweet potato and jalapeno. I couldn't really taste the jalapeno but the soup was creamy and just a little sweet. Warmed me up from the cold wind. There are several vegan options and the staff were very knowledgeable of the menu and how to make many items fit a vegan diet."

"Our second visit was as good or better than our first a year ago. Our server was gracious and knowledgeable about both the menu and the small wine list. I ordered the day’s special, salmon Oscar and it was excellent. The crab cake was delicious and the salmon tasted fresh and was prepared to perfection, flaking nicely. My wife ordered seared ahi which I tasted and both she and I agreed the Ahi was really special. Ahi on the coast is expected to be great, but in the middle of the desert that takes very diligent handling and preparation. This is an outstanding restaurant in a delightfully clever imitation of an old fashioned stage stop. I recommended the place to a friend in Arizona and they too sung it’s praises."
