"We recently visited the restaurant with a group of friends. While the restaurant had a pleasant ambiance and a promising name, there were a few aspects that fell short of our expectations. Firstly, the prices at the restaurant were a bit higher than anticipated. This came as a surprise and may be something to consider for future visitors. The food service also left something to be desired. As a group of four, we expected our dishes to be delivered in an organized manner. However, they were brought to our table randomly, resulting in a rather disjointed dining experience. Furthermore, when we ordered fries as a side dish, they arrived when we had nearly finished our fish. We kindly requested for them to be taken back to the kitchen, and to our surprise, they were still added to our invoice. However, upon bringing this issue to their attention, the problem was rectified promptly. Moreover, I would like to mention that the veal barbecue we ordered was not great. It seemed as though it was simply preheated on the grill, lacking the desired flavor and tenderness we expected. Overall, I must say that the food and service at Black Sea Fish Restaurant were average at best. While the quality of the food was acceptable, it did not stand out in any particular way. The service, although prompt in resolving our invoice problem, did not meet the level of attentiveness we had hoped for. We had higher expectations based on the restaurant’s name and reputation, but unfortunately, it did not meet them. I believe there is room for improvement in terms of both pricing transparency, the overall dining experience, and the preparation of certain dishes. Thank you for considering my feedback, and I hope it contributes to the restaurant’s ongoing efforts to provide an exceptional dining experience to its visitors."

"Everything was good: food, service, atmosphere. We've bought fish on the fish market. Cooking 2kg of fish cost 12GEL. We also ordered grilled vegetables. Everything was very tasty, well cooked, not as salty as in Fishlandia. It wasn't very crowded and service was pleasant"

"Probably the best restaurant in Batumi. Restorant has 3 floors for different type of evening. We went on third floor and it has just great view, good service and friendly, attentive staff. Food is dellicious and fish was extra fresh. Live music on first floor and piano at 3rd floor. Singer/pianist Maria Zaridze had the great voice and play very popular foreigh and georgian songs. Also I have to mention the owner, who was really very nice to me and my friends. And dont forget to taste doecial coffe from the owner, which is totally different and intensive. We got complimentary gift from him and it relly surprised us. Thank you Riviera! Highly reccomend this place! See my photos and visit this amazing place."

"Very disappointing food. The view on the harbor and the coastline is amazing but unfortunately it is not a place to eat. The baklava we got was atleast a couple of weeks old… inedible. No toilets in the restaurant; you have to use the public toilets on the street!"
