"To this pleasant restaurant situated on the outskirts of Geneva. The décor is Asian and the Afghan food is quite a change from the majority of other restaurant dishes. The food served is well presented, some dishes quite spicy. I had the lamb which was copious, a little bony though and rice with carrots and raisins. My friends had the menu at Fr45 so was also able to taste the different flavours. We ate outside in the garden decorated with flowers and Afghan artifacts away from the noisy busy road. The service was pleasant, maybe a little slow. An unusual restaurant to be recommended"

"The breakfast buffet (to be paid extra for as a hotel guest) has plenty to offer and was worth it's price. also dinner was delicious and the menu has plenty to offer. prices are swiss ;-) of course!"

"Dimanche soir, début août, nous nous rendons à la Réserve pour leur excellent Canard Laqué, nous ne sommes pas des habitués mais nous nous y allons plusieurs fois par année.Nous commandons des apéritifs, des entrées, un Canard Laqué pour quatre et une bouteille de Cos des Pagodes. Le premier service de Canard Laqué pratiquement terminé, la bouteille de Cos vidée nous en commandons une seconde pour le second service de canard...Second service qui n'est jamais arrivé car le Maitre d'hôtel, sans nous demander notre préférence, ni même nous suggérer de choisir le Canard Laqué en deux service, a passé, de son propre chef, la commande pour le canard en un service...Très surpris de ne pas recevoir un deuxième service nous en faisons part au serveur (absolument charmant et sympathique) qui nous renvoie au Maitre d'hôtel.Ce dernier nous a "présenté des excuses" à peines audibles et je lui ai demandé ce que nous pouvions avoir pour accompagner notre deuxième bouteille de vin?? Il nous a suggéré de reprendre un deuxième Canard Laqué (évidemment payant).Nous nous sommes rabattus sur des desserts et cafés et avons demandé l'addition.Je signifie au Maitre d'hôtel notre déception et lui fait part, encore une fois, de son manque de professionnalisme, ma femme lui précise que pour son erreur il aurait pu nous offrir les cafés, sur ce il propose de nous offrir des digestifs que nous n'acceptons pas en lui expliquant le manque de spontanéité de son offre au vu de son erreur dans la commande.Pour la petite histoire nous nous sommes mariés à la Réserve en septembre 1987 mais je ne pense pas que nous y fêterons nos trente ans de mariage.Le cadre reste l'un des plus beaux de Genève et environs."

"There is no direct view of the lake, rather a municiple terrace blocks the direct water view. We were directly in the flight path of the airport, so every 5 minutes a jet would pass 300 meters over head and the noise was defeaning. I had the tartare de fer to begin, it was good. I then had the seabream which was overcooked and over priced. The wine card was very weak with two of the limited choices out of stock. The service was slow. The person I was dining with had the lake perch and she liked it very much. Maybe that is the trick here- but for the price I was terribly disappointed and I will not go again."

"Went with my family to this lovely place just outside Geneva. They specialize in bison meat. Anything you can think of in conventional beef is serve in bison meat. Bison meat is extremely tender and full of flavor. It does resemble to beef. Had the...carpacio, a must try and the filet done rare. Really enjoyed the meat. Service is excellent and friendly. I really recommend this place for meat lovers!"
