"Other TripAdvisor reviewers had raved about this restaurant, so my friends and I decided to give it a try despite having vegetarian and gluten-free restrictions. We were delighted with our choices (pork secondi piatti and gnocco). Presentation was artful, and the taste delicious. We each only had one course to save room for dessert. Again, we loved the flavors and presentation. Service was attentive and prompt. The view from the patio is amazing, too, and not too bad considering the 95 deg F temperature in town."

"We were looking for somewhere a bit more casual for dinner during our trip to Spello and stumbled across Il Beericcio. The staff were so lovely and despite us speaking no Italian, and our fantastic waitress only speaking a little English, we were easily able to communicate. We had the best burgers we have had in Italy juicy, flavoursome and fantastic bread. Their homemade chips are so good as well. We were two very happy and full customers!"

"We have eaten at Mangiafuoco numerous times. We are always impressed by the quality of the dishes and the service. The restaurant itself has a great feel both inside and outside (when weather permits). The kitchen produces a variety of meat, seafood and pasta presented elegantly but, the food is masterfully prepared. This last time we ordered the caprese and melanzani as appetizers. We then ordered lamb, salmon, tuna, risotto and carbarnaro dishes. Dessert was panecotta and chocolate tort. All execellent!!!!"
