"Cool looking building, inside and outside situated right next to the road. Really interesting vibe in the decor, lighting and the way products are displayed. Ultra modern but cosy feeling. "For $55 the food was as expected, the service was good. Two of u tried each other’s food, so I got to try the calamari entree which was delish, my ocean trout entree wasn’t too shabby either. Mains we tried the spring veg risotto, pretty solid; the steak had a nice char grilled flavour. For dessert we had the white chocolate cheesecake which was just wayyyy too sweet, so we only had a bite each. The cheese platter w Brie was good, the fruit bread was slightly stodgey."

HOME STRETCH. Last stint of the road trip, and where better to end it than squeezing in a visit to the gorgeous Yarra Valley. Trattoria D’Soumah was a little hide away gem recommended by the blueberry lady!"

"Highly recommend, dishes and service are of high standard, especially the roast chicken with the amazing sauce, the chicken was not over cooked and very tender and juicy. The Paella was another standout dish, full of flavours and very tasty seafood. The spicy pork pizza is nice too, though may just be a tad too spicy for some. Service was also very good. Will definitely bring friends there."

"This may be my favourite place I’ve ever eaten, sincerely. I’ve had such positive experiences my last two visits to Tarra Warra. They use fresh ingredients from their vegetable patch, have very knowledgeable waiting staff, a lovely wine selection and most importantly, deliciously different dishes. The kangaroo may be the best protein dish I have ever eaten. Such a stand out in fact that I’d made the 2 hour commute back to try again the week after. The winery also has a sizeable museum and one of the most architecturally beautiful cellar doors I may ever see. Check this one out!"
