"Quality of the food was horrendous. Teriyaki beef was crap in both look and taste. The goyza was deep fried, your not supposed to deep fry goyza. On top of that the goyza had split open. Overall a garbage meal. If I could score it less than terrible i would."

"Absolutely wonderful staff! I am so mad that I didn't get the gentlemen's name but he made ordering so easy by explaining each topping and whether or not it was spicy. This type of ordering setup can be intimidating, especially in restaurants you've never been before, but the man who helped my sister and I made it very simple (while keeping it efficient). The price is decent for how much food you get! They definitely don't skimp out on toppings. Great food, great experience"

"Having heard that this was one of the better East Indian restaurants in Kitchener-Waterloo, my wife & I went for supper with great expectations. The name of the restaurant itself evokes an anticipation of a fine dining experience, which is then heightened upon arrival in the well-appointed dining room with beautiful decor, a warm ambiance, and attentive service.Unfortunately, in our opinion, the food itself did not measure up to what we were anticipating. Now don't get me wrong. The food was good. But it was just average East Indian food. I realize that taste is subjective and that India features a wide variety of cooking styles and food, but we were certainly expecting more spice and flavour. Instead, we found the samosas almost tasteless. Some of the other dishes were rather bland too. This was the kind of food we were accustomed to getting at ordinary East Indian buffets, not what we were expecting to receive in an establishment that up to this point had delivered well on a fine dining experience.For a great dining experience AND really flavourful East Indian food, the Grain of Salt restaurant in Cambridge is the place to go."

I went in about a month ago and they had a new person who worked the front and she tried to overload me for an article that. I order to go once a week. I tried to explain it to her, and she literally wouldn't listen, so I left without her. I went back the next week and told one of the other girls and she wasn't very polite and she put in the order. two days ago, I went back and guess who was in front? I ordered the spinat feta triangle and she made it obvious that she was not happy to see me. began speaking Arabic to the others and they all began to laugh. I came home and it was an extremely tired flattened out of stale and in the regular it comes with garlic sauce, this time it has humus. mistkerl? I'll let them judge. it is very hit and miss with the quality of food in general now. I had skin problems twice after eating. but really it is the blatant abuse of the workers there they have ensured, not only will I never go into a foot again, I will make sure that all I know about my experience say. they don't deserve to treat these wise customers. in this area there are enough other possibilities and places of the Central Eastern kitchen. while I admit that her garlic sauce is wonderful, it is not worth getting a meal. if the quality of the food is so that it has brought them a flattened piece of steal food from the refrigerator and then the customer service has cooked up to the staging battle, they cannot support it in any way. the old al medina had wonderful owners, so friendly and gracious and eating was to sniff. that is mediocre eating now with service that should not be tolerated by anyone."
