"We were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress didn't immediately ask us if we wanted anything to drink. She passed our table and acknowledged the people opposite us who arrived after my fiance and I did. After walking back and forth a couple of times she then came to our table and asked if we wanted something to drink. We asked for coffee and waited a bit for that. Even though we were ready to order, she left and came back a longer while later to take our order. 3 1/2 cups of coffee later, we had decided to just pay for the coffee and leave to somewhere else, just as we were about to leave, the waitress came with our order. We waited an hour for scrambled eggs and bacon, 3 eggs, bacon and sausage links with pancakes. Definitely disappointed. I wasn't going to leave a review but this has been the second time that we have experienced this at the Newburgh NY perkins location and I have to say we most likely will not dine at this Perkins location again. I would have at least expected out of common curiosity for the waitress to excuse the fact that our service was taking so long and why maybe but nothing. As soon as she arrived with our food she left out bill. Definitely not impressed. Food turned out cold even after waiting an hour. The only thing that was hot was the coffee."

"This was our Valentine's Day dinner. Everything went well, great company, excellent food and service. It’s not a huge menu; but there is enough variety to find something. For those who care there are 2 washrooms that are gender neutral. I don't know why any negative reviews; this is our second visit and we're very particular about our seafood. NO COMPLAINTS here. For a starter we had a clams oregenata; an actual clam in a delicious sauce. Perfectly cooked and executed. I tried the sole francaise with a potato croquet and broccoli. Both the sole and potato were amazing. Hot, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I'm not a broccoli fan, so I can't comment on the vegetable. Although the size of the fillet was closer to the size of a flounder fillet. It was still toothsome morsel. I've caught and cleaned enough of both, but nevertheless it wasn't over cooked. She had the seared sea scallops. Not even a Michelin star celebrity chef would have a complaint with the way they were prepared. The portions are just enough and the flavors complimentary. The margarita wasn't boozy, too sweet, or unbalanced. It was a sipping drink that went down smoothly. She thoroughly enjoyed her Bloody Mary. It too, was just right. The espresso had actual schiuma! You need a machine for that. I just can't believe this restaurant isn't on coast; where really fresh seafood is always available and the patrons are used to exceptional seafood prepared and served to perfection. That's why the five star rating; if I could give an extra star I would."

"Went into day and was screamed at by nasty middle aged Caucasian worker that my mask wasn't good enough. NY mandate says a face covering it can not does not specify what type of face covering nor is a mandate a law. The worker was beyond rude and I would not recommend this location to anyone."

"We love going to perkins early. we have never been disappointed. eating has a lot of taste and the portions are large. we have always left this place filled. the prices are reasonable. they have a huge selection in their menu to choose from. the environment has a country decor. I love that they put a bare coffee right on the table, so they never have to wait for a waitress for more coffee. apropos waitress, the best waitress I ever met was in this facility. her name is lorri. she is warm, friendly and very efficient at her job. the morning manager is also very professional and friendly."
