"After a winter hiking tour I stopped at Cristal for a coffee break. The location is very sunny all afternoon and with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. Friendly and smiling welcome, although it was the last day of the winter season. I chose a homemade LInzer cake with vanilla ice cream: quite decent, but not exceptional. In addition to an apple juice and a coffee, the check was CHF15 a reasonable price considering the top position."

"A nice place after a long and very interesting walk over about 75 minutes from Braunwald. Good homemade farmers food prepared by the farmers wife personally ! Simple Menu and fine desserts Ice-cream. Can highly recommend !"
