"Not a good experience. Went with my daughter maybe a month ago. The service was slow. The waitress kept passing our table. I had the steak sub and it was dry with very little meat. The restruant .seemed on the dirty side. I will not return."

"Best fresh fried fish! I’ve been looking for a place for fried fish ever since I moved to the lower peninsula and I finally found my place. I’ve yet to be disappointed. I love their fish, fries and desserts. My favorite is the whitefish but they frequently are out of it : . I love the large portion sizes. It’s definitely worth the price! Oh and I can’t forget about their gumbo. It is to die for! I’m obsessed. The fact that they deliver is very dangerous for me."

"Chicken Shack has been a classic in my family for decades. You were always pumped when you got to a family party and there was chicken shack catered. But over the past 5 years the shack has slowly become mid. I could usually make a regular 4 piece dinner into two meals just due to the size of the breast, last time I ate the whole thing because the pieces were so incredibly small, and the breast for the first time in my life was tough and overcooked. The app has the well done option for the sides, not the main course. And there is never extra butter, even when asked. The perfectly sized crescent potatoes are no more. Recently they were way too big and not cooked all the way, and the latest time they were so incredibly small and crunchy. Definitely lots of changes happening here. RIP OG CHICKEN SHACK. Cluckin Hot Chick here I come. :"
