"We booked in for three nights as the start of our honeymoon to the hotel along with a decadent two evenings at the restaurant. The food was sublime. The hotel luxurious. The spa was a delight - totally deserted and we had the hydrotherapy pool to ourselves on both days. Understated elegance and efficient service. I also forgot a much- loved cardigan which is being sent to me at no cost. All in all I can't recommend the whole place highly enough. Would certainly return for rest and relaxation and great great food."

"Was here on a week night and there was a couple of tables in and us. The young waitress was nice. Prawn Massaman Curry was flavourless. Also first time we've had one with the rice thrown in with it and not seperate. Nobody asked how the meal was whilst at the table. Definitely think this restaurant is only good at steak. Steak was nice. The veg was once chargrilled but has clearly been steamed or boiled to heat back up again."

"Located just a short walk from the main street McGregor Terrace Food Experience was a superb dining pleasure. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience with character. The menu alters weekly which added to the interest. The meals were absolutely delicious, an ample serve, exquisitely presented. The BYO local arrangement allowed us to have superb wine which complimented the meal. The entire meal, starter, main and desert was superb, a gastronomic experience and reasonably priced. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. A wonderful dining experience. Put this restaurant on your list when you next dine in Stanthorpe you will not be disappointed."

"Let me start by saying , the food was great. It really was, but - It was a very hot day and we were seated in an airless verandah with plastic covering all the windows. We were given a winter menu and all felt uncomfortably hot ."

"A terrific little place, with excellent coffee and divine home-made treats (the rhubarb scones are a winner!) Service is friendly, and quick. The outdoor seating area offers a cooling breeze and pleasant surroundings. Highly recommended!"

"Lovely genuine Italian cuisine - with typically generous Italian serving sizes! We were warned by our hosts at our beautiful B&B to order entree size main courses and we were very thankful for the advice. My husband had the stuffed mushrooms as an entree and followed with an entree size cannelloni. I also had the entree size cannelloni as my main, which allowed me room for a dessert! The cannelloni was so full of wonderful Italian flavour and was, indeed, a very generous serve. The aroma from my husband's mushroom entree had my mouth watering before my meal arrived. The dessert menu was so good, I wanted them all, but eventually settled on Cannoli - very glad I made that choice. Again a very generous serving - 3 delicious melt in the mouth pastry tubes filled with both custard & chocolate cream!! I ate one, my husband ate one, and we took one home. DO NOT miss this restaurant. I believe they have a buffet format on weekends, wish I could be in town for that!"

"We loved our dinner here on Saturday night! The food and service was impeccable. We started by sharing the stuffed mushrooms. Then came the meat filled cannelloni and the masala chicken with vegetables. The chicken meal was big and I couldn't eat it all but the creamy masala sauce was delicious! After a little while we indulged in dessert. I had the cassata which was incredible and my dinner companion had the homemade mango icecream. Both were delicious! The bottle of local Shiraz from Symphony Hill winery was so incredible we visited the next day and bought some to take home. We will be back and can heartily recommend a meal here"
