"Went here for supper after having been to 3-star for lunch. This was far more fun, and the pasta truffle ricotta starter best dish of the day. Great atmosphere, and really well-cooked food all-round. Martini was a bit miserly, but otherwise everything you want from a really good local restaurant."

"Avoid this KFC at all costs, if I had read the reviews before dining I never would have dined at this branch. If I could I would give it zero stars. I dined here on the 10th of December after work. I wasn't very hungry so my partner finished off my meal for me. Both of us were woken up with terrible poisoning, vomiting the works. When I went to get pharmacy supplies the next day to treat the symptoms, the pharmacist and their assistant from pharmacy across the road told me they had contracted food poisoning from there earlier in the week. Avoid this franchise at all costs. This episode has cost my partner and I a loss of three days work as freelancers. Angry does not describe my feelings at the moment. Have reported to Food Standards Authority. KFC needs to shut this store down and do an overhaul of their food safety training."

"I have been going to this chip shop for 12 years and they were great, generous portions great staff! Always cooked anything you asked for if it wasnt ready already. New owner came in last year, portion sizes downsized dramatically and wouldn’t cook me a large cod when ordered it. He just kept saying ‘I have regular’. The large chips was smaller than a medium portion, wouldn’t even be considered a small portion. I don’t care what I pay, when I want something I’m not bothered about the price but when I order something off the menu don’t try to sell me something else and then steal my money by giving me a fraction of the order but charge me full price. I haven’t gone back since and won’t."
