"Great. Only Pho King ingenious. Sister in front took care of me and was patient enough to adapt my order. Can't have the noodles, but a friend of mine has suggested asking a lot of bean spits. As I ordered, she saved me from doing more ala cart and promised me to get a lot of vegetables. She came through and I had enough to share someone else. Again, Pho King Awesome."

"Wonderful food, great service breakfast all day ! They were very friendly and welcoming and the food was great we had pancakes and waffles and egg dishes in our group and everything was good. I loved the huge banana mac pancakes (too big for 1 person, great to share) Would love to see refillable/reusable maple syrup containers in use instead of the single use plastic ones (not real maple syrup) but everything else was reusable and high quality, I love their coffee and we drank a lot thanks to their generosity. I think the prices are also the most reasonable we found in Hawaii for the generous sized portions of food like this highly recommended."

"After exploring numerous Mexican restaurants across the island in my nine years here, I was on the verge of giving up on finding a reliable go-to spot. It seemed challenging to replicate the authentic Mexican flavors, seasonings, cuts, and salsas that I was accustomed to from Los Angeles. I learned that the scarcity and cost of certain ingredients, which are inexpensive in LA, contributed to the differences. Add the natural island spin, and my quest left me disappointed--until El Ranchero opened. While it doesn 't fully satisfy my cravings, El Ranchero is undoubtedly the best Mexican food I 've had on the island. It 's a joke in my book that they strategically chose California Ave and even named a burrito the California burrito, featuring carne asada fries inside. I 've missed the carne asada fries from places like Alberto 's or Alfredo 's, and while it 's not quite the same, El Ranchero hits the spot. I frequently make the drive from town, and now with their new location at Ka Makana Alii, I have more options!"

"Clean tables, no wait time 1hr before closing, waitress took our drinks as soon as I sat down, out of most beer, reasonable prices, the table sitting by themselves in the middle of the dining room look a little old. The smoke house was advertised to have onion rings on it, the picture also confirms this, but when i received it the burger had chopped (French's onions) on it kinda disappointed. The burger was soggy but the fries where fresh ans crispy with a crunch. The meat was cooked to order, and it was cooked to how I like it. I was also not offered a drink refill before my glass hit 1/4. The food came out in a reasonable time for the time of day. The basic drink price is 3.79$"

"Been eating here for many years and I love their chocolate chip pancakes! Lots of chocolate chips distributed pretty evenly and generously throughout. Consistently good food and service. Even scored a free mask with our order! (we ordered for four people so not sure how much u have to purchase before u get a free mask -sorry! Our number one breakfast spot!"
