"We came here because they had a vegan/vegetarian menu on their website. When we sat down at our table, the menu didn’t call out what was vegan or vegetarian. I ordered the Veggie Bento Box and my husband asked if was vegan. The server (hesitantly) said yes. When my miso soup arrived she said it might not be vegan… so I let my husband eat it. The Veggie Box was decent—big portion! But it came to the table 10 minutes before my husband’s food so I was half done when he started eating. My non-vegan husband reports his sushi was nothing spectacular.The ambiance was whimsical and cozy. The staff seemed very nice. "Visited for lunch. The interior was beautiful and the service excellent, but the price was out of control.Just ordering the lunch specials for two adults and one kid (no alcohol, each person just ordered one lunch special) hit us for over $60.If the food was incredible, I wouldn't mind but one major issue I had was that the california roll we received had almost no crab or avocado, and was mostly filled with cucumber. Out of all the sushi restaurants I've ever been to, this was the first to mess up a cali roll.It was still good. The quality of the meal was great. Normally, I would not complain about something like that. I almost expect to get scraps when I order a lunch special. But for THOSE prices off the lunch menu, I would expect everything perfect.I can't imagine how high the regular prices are."
