"I went here over the weekend to celebrate my birthday and was really excited to try them out. Upon arriving for a 7pm reservation we were told to have a seat and wait to be seated at a table. We did so and were seated around 7:10p. We got to the table and literally waited a full hour before the chef even came out. Our waitress was extremely slow and nonchalant. She forgot several drinks and appetizers during our visit and lacked a sense of urgency and Interest for customer needs. She also messed up half the checks in our party. While I looked forward to the staff singing me happy birthday (because I noted it was a birthday dinner), for whatever reason it just didn’t happen. My family and friends made dinner as amazing as it was, I’d like to say Taki’s staff and service did not live up to the occasion. The manager/host guy is ALWAYS flustered, rude and running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I’m not sure if they’re understaffed or what, but this place has so much potential if staffing and service were better."
