"This restaurant in Jonchery-sur-Vesle is open in the evenings on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We arrived on a Wednesday evening at around 7.00 pm. The place was open, but more or less empty. When we asked if we could have a table for two we were simply told "Non". We were also told that the same applied on Thursday, but we could come back on Friday or Saturday, or at lunchtime. No explanation was offered for this refusal to serve us. We thought at first that the owner was joking, but he was serious! When we walked past again about an hour later the place was still more or less deserted. Can a restaurant really just refuse to serve you?"

To our big surprise it was a very nice restaurant with people enjoying their Sunday lunch with big families. Food is great. We took tasting menu. Fresh. Portions are too big! Highly recommend."
