"I preface this review with the statement that I stay at IHG hotels on a regular basis and this particular stay was for two nights. My friend and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Dumfries hotel on July 21st to the 23rd and was really disappointed. The first issue that I had was that I was injured and I requested an extra pillow to prop up my ankle and was told by the front desk that they were out. I was surprised to find a hotel out of pillows in the entire facility. Second, I get a knock on the door after the first night being asked if I was supposed to check out. I'm not halfway into my stay and this happens. Third the vast majority of the white towels were not thoroughly cleaned because we could still see staining on them. Finally my checkout was scheduled for 11:30am. I not only get a knock on the door but also the housekeeper proceeded to open the door not once but twice before 11:30. I felt rushed and unappreciated as a guest at this hotel and left comments and contact information at the front desk for the general manager to contact me. No one has reached out and I am inclined to discontinue patronage to IHG hotels. The hotel in Quantico/Stafford off Salisbury is a much better location for service and accommodations. I am expecting someone to reach out to me concerning this matter."

"The people are okay but the food is never anything like what's on. What we ordered yesterday is definitely not what was on the board and we asked for whipped cream and never got it. Leaves you a little disappointed every time, which is a shame because they used to be one of the best Dunkin donuts."

"I have pretty much stopped every morning for the last month. Today is the last day. For the last week I have ordered a coffee to go with my breakfast with five sugars and one cream. I have been given five creams and one sugar, repeatedly! The first time I thought that maybe I gave the order wrong. But today I recognized the cashier trying to distract me with some story about some other customer. I immediately pulled forward and stopped to check the contents of my cup. I saw a pale cup of coffee and upon tasting it, knew there was no sugar. When I pulled back up to the window to get my sugar, the smirk on her face told me it was intentional and no mistake. She has caused me to change my morning and find another breakfast option. Thank her for me. It was the white girl."
