"We sat outside away from the grill. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, although his English was as bad as my Italian we went through the special dishes on the blackboard and I think we made sense of it. The chef was watching with some amusement and came over with a plate of fish and I picked out a seabass (Spigola on the board so he said). Over a beer and a Prosecco we ordered an octopuss salad and Spigola for me and my wife had a salad and a steak. With the starter we had two glasses of white wine and a bottle of white with the main course, no desserts just a coffee and espresso with a complimentary Mirto. The chef came over and spoke to us for some time, his English was good and he was very interesting to talk with. I have entitled this review Exceptional value and it was, we checked the bill to ensure all was included and it was correct, so without a tip it came to 62 Euros. Great value for the great food, wine, service and company in a warm Italian atmosphere. A slow walk back to the hotel with a stop off for a night cap or two rounded off another great day in Villasimius."

"I was impressed positively by this restaurant. clean restaurant and attention to details. the dinner was served with different courses required by my family (2 adults and 2 children,) all served impeccably from the maximum. superlative the spaghetti (in the cartoccio) to the seafood always served to the maximum. I'll be back tonight, no doubt. I highly recommend the restaurant el Faro"

"I booked, through the fork , a table for 2 for my girlfriend 's birthday dinner. The place is smart and it 's located few steps away from the wonderful beach of Porto Giunco. Davide was very nice and welcomed us with a glass of prosecco. The fried squids we ordered to start were fresh and perfectly cooked, the best I have tried in a long time. I then ordered ravioli and my girlfriend ordered spaghetti with clams. They were absolutely perfect. Finally, as a dessert, we had a tiramisu and a cheesecake, both of them delicious. To drink we had a bottle of Vermentino (local white wine). The bill was not cheap but I was expecting this. In summary, the location of the restaurant is great, food was amazing as well as the service. The price was right for what they offered. I would definitely eat there again!"
