"Afternoon Tea was at best average, tried to charge a service fee when didn’t attend the table for at best 1hr. Had the cheek to charge us extra for sausage rolls when the service was awful. It was so poor. Definitely do not recommend it at all, shame really as was supposed to finish off a nice weekend."

"Had admired this restaurant when spending a couple of days in Malmesbury. Arrived about 18:30 and told that there was just one table available, which was downstairs. We were placed opposite a lively table of ppl and next to the gents. Four other tables were not occupied (and no one came down for these tables while we were there. We ordered the veg platter. This was a series of anti-pasti veggies plus a ramekin of non-descript houmous and four bread sticks. This lacked imagination, and flavour. There was also a huge pile of rocket-why.?? This did not compliment or enhance the dish. My friend had a tuna pizza. Elements of this were undercooked. I ordered the hot veggie, which had the same veg as veg platter. This time served on a uncooked base and congealed to a wet mess. Overall very disappointing. Very noisy. Very rushed. Very expensive for standard and quality of food presented. As we left, we walked past four empty tables."
