"A friend invited me for a quick evening meal to the Bädli. We found enough parking space available and then enjoyed a table in the corner of the restaurant. The food was served hot, nicely arranged. This is a place where you find people sitting around in the evening for a drink, exchanging the newest stories of the day, doing local politics."

"The food here is okay, but nothing very special, price at Fr 28 to 40. Portions are big so you don't get hungry. The battle is with the flies. Files swarm around the table and your food. It's hard to enjoy a meal when you have to throw them away all the time. For this reason I cannot recommend this restaurant."

"I wish we had Pöestli near our home; it was such a great place to have dinner, for a very good price, and with a very friendly staff. We had dinner here multiple times when we stayed in Langnau. The restaurant is located right across the train station. During the day they serve an extensive lunch menu, and many pastries as well. Dinner was always excellent. The daily menu's were very nice and way too cheap. These are Swiss prices we are not familiar with. If we will ever visit Langnau again, Pöestli is the first restaurant we will go back to. Thank you, Monika and staff."

"Visiting the beautiful Emmental area I had dinner here thanks to the positive reviews. Located a few minutes from the railway station, Bären is an impressive and beautiful house typical of the Emmental region. Thumbs up to Ursula for the very friendly and efficient service. The menu is Swiss traditional with focus on regional produce. I started with the tasty Fränzis Salat (named after the owner 's wife Fränzi) green salad with scrambled eggs and parmesan. As main course I chose the pan fried Entlebuch trout fillets: generous and delicious portion, fish was perfectly prepared. I ended my dinner with a homemade strawberry tart which proved quite good. In high price Switzerland the bill remained pleasantly moderate amounting to CHF75. Overall very good value for money."
When the weather conditions is nice you can also eat and drink outside.

"We stayed for dinner and took a pan of rosti with mixed vegetables and the classic tartare with fries. everything was very good and also good portions. It wasn't sweet.
