"Stumbled on this place today after a walk on the coast path. We had whitebait, baked egg and tomato bread, and a chorizo and black bean stew. Then we had a Pastel de Nata each. It was all beautifully fresh and tasty and the coffee was also great. Can't wait to go back if you're near Pendeen it's well worth a visit."

"There are two restaurants on the island, we ate at the sail loft. I think the menus are similar. We had the beetroot cheese sandwich and the pickled cucumber and cream cheese sandwich. Both were very nice and tasted very fresh. Nice to have a few different options."

"I myself and other half had luck having the whole restaurant to us last night! incredibly personal touch through the waitress (possibly the owner has not got their names! When she sat at the fire, everyone answered asking us about the food. we went for the vegetarian plate that was absolutely stunning. we really did not expect that so high-quality, tasty and well presented foods especially as vegetarian. blacks is a little gem and we are happy that we have found it. many thanks to the talented chef and friendly team, we had an amazing evening."
