"I saw a high rating for this fish restaurant, so I went there. For such a price I have a good quality of food and some surprises. But no, I was totally disappointed. The fish tasted like frozen fillet purchased at Safeway. The part is not enough to fill you. The dishes on the menu are so common, nothing special. I don't think it deserves to have a good rating and a higher price than Red Lobster. I really like Red Lobster better, even it's a chain."

"I tried the 2 piece fish and prawns and a crab cake. This order comes with fries. I don't know why I only had 1 piece of fish but, I didn't going back to say anything because I waited while my order was being cooked and I was ready to go by the time I received my food. The staff and customer service was very polite and welcoming. My fish was good. My prawns fries were slightly overcooked and nothing really had any seasoning except for the crabcake. It had a little flavor but, it was more breading and seasoning than crab. It was just ok. Not bad, but not great. I'd like to go back and try other items on their menu. They did have a nice selection of foods to try. I like variety. Overall It's, a nice place to grab some cook to order fish or seafood.Vegetarian options: I didn't really pay attention but there's fried zucchini and French friesParking: Large shared parking lot, might have trouble looking for a spot when it's busy but, I was fine."

"I was a little disappointed with California Fish Grill. The service was good and speedy but the food and ambiance was not the best. The tables were a bit messy and not super comfortable. I did really like their fun soft drink options though. I ordered the salmon tacos and they were a bit fishy tasting, the tortillas were kind on dry and the sides were nothing special. The coconut shrimp was also just so strange... but not in a good way. It kind of tasted like the shrimp had been rolled in a coconut flavored kind bar. The sweet sauce was good though."

"I will give this place 2 stars because of the service, I ordered the chicken sandwich and 2 whole chicken wings I'll start by saying that the chicken sandwich was not to my liking it was very chewy, and the fries were overcooked moving along to the chicken wings I see they use the same batter for the chicken that they use for the chicken wings as well as the fish the batter is flavorless there's no seasoning it's a very light colored. If the batter had some seasoning It would probably be a little better overall I will not be coming back."
