"It was a good experience. many interesting dishes and there was not too much to eat, so they enjoy the whole course without feeling sick at the end. I think it is also important to note that if they say “input menu” they do not mean they can order another set individually, for example person 1 order set a and person 2 order set b. they think that the whole table of but many people must all eat the same amount (so the whole table of 5 people eat set a, unless there are food restrictions). what I find a bit strange because set b is just a few extras more than set a and I am sure that they make it the same time they are tabling for the other. we have also said that we did not take alcohol, but rather some alcohol was served as a gum cleaner (ginn and tonic) and I think there was also alcohol in dessert. I would still say that it was a positive experience overall and I would try again. Maybe we'll try the Baller menu next time."

"We always look forward to eating at 'Sticky Rice' in Wickham. The food has always been fresh and delicious but today as we dropped into Newcastle on our way through to Canberra we experienced poor service and VERY ordinary Thai? food. We were greeted abruptly with " eat in or takeaway?" We found our own table and ordered from the menu only to be told that we could only order from the lunch menu which doesn't offer the same choices. The pad Thai noodles were undercooked and tough to eat. The stir fried duck and vegetables was mostly fat and skin, smelt rank (off) and tasted like it had been soaked in vinegar. To top it off the food was luke warm! I honestly believe the duck was off and had been soaked in vinegar and recooked. My Macedonian mother in law (chef) confirmed this. I will add that the dish was mostly rice and large chunks of fresh, yes fresh vegetables. $$ for vege and rice. This cute little restaurant is by no means a restaurant offering delicious Thai Street food , but rather a dodgy cafe offering second rate food that is laden with sugar and by no means Thai. Sadly we won't be returning to 'Sticky Rice' nor will we be recommending to Friends or family.Disappointed is an understatement !"

"The food and the service were average. we were a party of 7 and ordered 4 entrees 5 netzen. one of the entrees (onion pakora) was cooked and we sent it back to the kitchen to be replaced. when we asked for it, the waitress lied to us that the court is in order, and will not be replaced because we would have consumed the majority of it, as if we had realized that it was only cooked by the look, then we said that we would not pay for it unless they replace it, log it again and said that they ran out of the battery to make it. at this time we were really disappointed and told her that we will not pay for a product that was unusable under standard and round. she went back with her cock between her two and brought us fresh paprika. the main thing was disappointing butter huhn was sweet and the fish in fish amritsari died in vain. the Kadhai chicken was acceptable, and so was Soy Chaap. the only good court was Gauner.
