"After I have lived in the opposite for over 23 years, I cannot believe that this was our first visit to say at least that it will not be our last. absolutely delicious. we had the Sunday carousel and the choice was brilliant bark (boiled to perfection) gammon, black or truthahn (and not only limited to one). something that meets all requirements. the staff was friendly and friendly and nothing was too much. very recommend this hidden gemstone of a pub and we will soon return to the rehearsal more of their menu."

"This store frequently runs out of milk for those shopping before am when the delivery is made. Today when I asked a manager (drafted in from another store) why they did not order more he replied that the amount was decided by the computer....You would only need to go and look at the empty shelves every morning to see this isn't working but its obviously much easier to blame the computer than take responsibility for under ordering. If this manager found the computer had underpaid him would he just shrug and say the computer knows best! The other problem encountered at this store today is also a regularly occuring one. Only one manned checkout open and then when the supervisor does open another one they peel people off from the end of the queue rather than serving the people who have waited the longest. This happens so often to me, three times in the last two weeks alone, that I think a fairer system should be introduced which does not allow the supervisor to play God' and choose who gets through quickest. This could be a filter queue or a ticket system like those at delicatessens."
