"We recently had a funeral reception at the Creekside! Everything was perfect! The food was delicious! The staff was small but very efficient and very kind and courteous! From outside you see a parking lot full of boats and guests thought OMG. What a dump! But when you enter the building, it’s a beautiful bar/restaurant with delicious food and cocktails all at reasonable prices! Our guests were very impressed! They made a sad day turn into a wonderful celebration of the life of our mother! Thank you Creekside! We will definitely be back! The family of Rosemary Ruocco (may our mom RIP)"

"Very cute place. Our downstate Mexican is much more flavorful, authentic, and cheaper. Which was a surprise to me. For $75 I got 5 lunch size dishes and the portions were small. Rice and beans didn't seem fresh and no extra salsas like other places always heap on. Cute place to sit though, nice garden."

"I had lunch in summer 2019 and the Maryland crab cakes were DELICIOUS, best I had in years. The waiters were friendly, helpful, very attentive and polite. Thanks for being open again, I get more of this Maryland crabcake."

"My gin and tonic was served in a brandy snifter...which was...different. smile. My friend, a CIA trained chef, and I ordered the calamari and shrimp cocktail. The calamari was good, but the shrimp was poorly peeled and tasted a little fishy . Our entrees were steak and a seafood platter. Steak was great, but the mashed potatoes were very soupy . Seafood platter had fried shrimp, haddock and scallops. The scallops were outstanding. The shrimp good, but the haddock was soggy. Lemon Mascarpone cake was outstanding. Could have been a bad day for the kitchen. All in all, the cost was higher than expected for an okay experience. Might go back...maybe."
